Listen to My Episode on the MILK Podcast

Last week, I had the pleasure of being invited onto the Moms I’d Like To Know (MILK) podcast, hosted and created by Mallory Kasdan. I’ve been following Mallory’s podcast, and instagram for a while now, so it was really fun to have the opportunity to step into her studio. Also, it was my first live podcast experience (newbie alert). The podcast format both thrills and scares me — knowing that the words you choose cannot be edited, and that whatever you say, you can never take back. It’s live. It obviously is coming from your mouth. And sitting next to your partner as they listen to your podcast via earbuds, so that you have no idea what part he is laughing at, or making a slightly horrified face about, is a wee bit torturous.

Anyway, if you want to know more about me, and the origin of Not Safe For Mom Group, have a listen. Mallory is an expert host, and a pleasure to talk to and get to know (both on and offline). We covered a lot in our hour together: How I felt betrayed by womankind for what they don’t tell you about childbirth and after, carving out a new identity post baby, feeling like an outcast for much of my life, and why I hate inspirational memes. Also: can openers. You’ll see.
